Bernadette Feeney is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and private practitioner who graduated in 1986. She has worked in the area of disability and home based early intervention services and for the past 18 years she has worked with preschool and school aged children and young teenagers with social, emotional and behavioural problems. She has a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Infant Mental Health and the connection between communication difficulties and behaviour problems.
She has a strong commitment to working together with families to help them recognise and respond to their child's communication signals and to understand what the child is trying to communicate through their behaviour in order to enhance the parent child relationship and peer relationships.

You know your child and we know about child development. Together we can understand the connections between your child's language abilities, social abilities and the qualities of their relationships. This may be through observation, questionnaires, discussion and using formal tests. Home visits and observation in the educational setting are available.
